    (3/30/08 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Shinsuke Nakamura (c) beat Hiroshi Tanahashi (24:44) with a cross armbreaker (2nd defense).
    (4/27/08 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) Keiji Muto beat Shinsuke Nakamura (c) (22:34) with a moonsault press to become the 49th champion.
    (7/21/08 @ Tsukisamu Green Dome) Keiji Muto (c) beat Manabu Nakanishi (23:50) with a moonsault press (1st defense).

    IWGP Tag Team Title

    (1/4/08 @ Tokyo Dome) Giant Bernard & Travis Tomko (c) beat Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner (12:50) when Bernard pinned Rick after the Magic Killer (5th defense).
    (2/17/08 @ Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) Togi Makabe & Toru Yano beat Giant Bernard & Travis Tomko (c) (16:30) when Makabe used a top rope King Kong kneedrop on Tomko to become the 51st champions.
    (3/9/08 @ Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium) Togi Makabe & Toru Yano (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Giant Bernard went to a no contest (1st defense).
    (4/27/08 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) Togi Makabe & Toru Yano (c) beat Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Takashi Iizuka (15:14) when Makabe used a top rope King Kong kneedrop on Tenzan (1st defense).
