    Profile:

Bryan Danielson was absorbed in American football and basketball during his school days, but chose to become a professional wrestler. After training from former WWF Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels, he debuted, using the masked persona of American Dragon. He made a name for himself on the American independent scene, unmasking and wrestling cutting edge matches in many promotions, including TWA, APW, ECWA, and ROH. His first tour of Japan was in late 1999, when he joined fellow Michaels trainee, Lance Cade, in FMW. In 2002, he began training at Antonio Inoki's Los Angeles Dojo, and his hard work there led to his entry into New Japan. 2004 saw major progress for him in New Japan, with a close IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title challenge, then an IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title win with Curry Man. Having gained so much success on the independent circuit, Dragon now looks for similar fame in Japan's top wrestling promotion.
