    Profile:

Jim Steele made his first visit to Japan in 1994, wrestling for All Japan. He disguised himself for a long time, firstly as Lacrosse under a mask, then as Wolf Hawkfield with face paint. His first real success came in January, 1998, when he and Johnny Smith ended Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori's three year reign as All Asia Tag Team Champions. He finally shed the disguises, and towards the end of 2000, began wrestling under his real name. He began to move up the ladder, forming a very successful team with Mike Barton. During the New Japan vs. All Japan feud in 2001, he wrestled numerous matches in New Japan with Barton. The two surprised everyone by reaching the final of the 2001 G1 Tag League, losing to Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima in an epic match that gained them much attention. He and Barton made a shocking appearance on New Japan's Makuhari convention in November, 2002, announcing that they would be transferring to New Japan. Immediately, they made an impact, teaming with Yuji Nagata in the 2002 Triathlon Survivor, and finishing second in the tournament. Master of the Turbo Drop and Turbo Drop II, two deadly throws, Steele looks to find success with Barton after graduating to Japan's top wrestling promotion.
